What Is UV CIPP Lining?

Cured-In-Place-Pipe, or CIPP, lining is a trenchless process that restores aged and damaged pipelines without the need for excavation and replacement. UV CIPP lining uses ultraviolet (UV) light to cure the resin-impregnated liner. This method is faster and more controlled than traditional heat or chemical curing, as the UV light accelerates the curing process and allows for immediate hardening. UV CIPP is particularly useful for large-diameter pipes and long, straight sections of pipeline with minimal lateral connections. It’s also beneficial in situations where the pipeline is in a challenging environment, such as busy gravity sewer systems with multiple lateral connections.
